Please join me in bidding a happy farewell to Chief Master Sgt. Kelly Hoffses on her 41 years of service and, most recently, the National Guard Bureau's Joint Staff Senior Enlisted Leader. Her impact on our enlisted force will be felt for many generations. Her stewardship, selflessness, and dedication to our mission have left a lasting impression on our Soldiers and Airmen, and I can't think of a better teammate to have had on our team during her tenure! Today, we celebrate the women who continue to break barriers and reflect on the work we still need to do. #NationalGuard #WomensEqualityDay
Did you know? The military service of American women in World War I was a strong contributing factor to the ratification of the 19th Amendment, granting women the right to vote. Today, we celebrate the women who continue to break barriers and reflect on the work we still need to do. #NationalGuard #History #WomensEqualityDay

Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III asked members of the United States Department of Defense to answer the question: “Why do you serve?” Here’s my story about why I joined and why I’ve dedicated 41 years of service to the United States Air Force and Air National Guard. I’d love to hear yours. #WhyIServe

Reflecting on the past four years of working alongside and serving under the guidance of one of our nation's most exceptional leaders, Gen. Daniel Hokanson has been an honor and a privilege. From navigating the challenges of the pandemic to leading our formidable 430,000-strong force as they deploy to all corners of the globe to keep our communities and partners safe, it's been an intense and rewarding journey. Gen Hokanson, I'm deeply grateful for your trust in me to support the enlisted force and your invaluable leadership. I will continue to uphold those duties as long as I am needed. As you transition into retirement with Kelly, may your days be filled with many cherished memories with your children and grandchildren. I wish you both all the best in this new chapter. #AlwaysReady #AlwaysThere
