Our Ottawa-based colleague Marijke De Pauw was part of the HI delegation at the 17th session of the Conference of States Parties to the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (COSP17), held at the United Nations headquarters in New York from June 11 to 13, 2024. 🌍 Our NGO was represented by: Marijke De Pauw, Arielle Goubert, Ulrike Last and Stephanie Peña. 👏 Overall, the participation of HI in #COSP17 was a success! 🙂 We were able to learn about new developments, priorities and challenges regarding disability inclusion, showcase and promote HI’s technical expertise, and strengthen connections with key stakeholders and partners. On May 30, 2024, under the support of ATscale, the Global Partnership for Assistive Technology funding Handicap International - Humanity & Inclusion Cambodia Technical team organized refresher training on OpenTeleRehab service to Prey Veng Physical Rehabilitation Center (PRC) staffs and handed over technical accessories including Tablets for enabling the remote Tele-Rehab service provision.
