The devastation caused by the wildfires in Southern California is heartbreaking. With four of our aerospace facilities located in the LA area, this means that our communities are being directly impacted by this natural disaster. We are #PPGProud that the PPG Foundation is donating to the American Red Cross in support of the wildfire disaster relief efforts.
Alongside the PPG Foundation, we are donating to the American Red Cross to support California wildfire disaster relief efforts. We are also matching our employees’ donations to the American Red Cross and other relief organizations. “The wildfires in California are unlike many disasters in recent times as so many are facing extreme loss. Immediate support in the community is critical in the days and weeks ahead,” said Malesia Dunn, our executive director, PPG Foundation and corporate global social responsibility. We are committed to joining employees in our aerospace locations in Burbank, Sylmar, Valencia and Mojave, Calif., in support of their communities and neighbors who are impacted.
