We are pleased to share that SRI Education researcher Sheresa Blanchard has contributed to the newly expanded second edition of “How Qualitative Data Analysis Happens: Moving Beyond ‘Themes Emerged’”, published by Routledge. Sheresa alongside her co-authors, present “Phenomenological Analysis and Racial Socialization Interpretation of Interviews with African American Parents of Toddler Sons”. Their chapter in this book provides critical insights into the qualitative research process, offering a deeper understanding of how researchers navigate and interpret complex data to draw meaningful conclusions. The pandemic has highlighted the urgent need for research-backed educational products to close learning gaps. The LEARN Network, funded by the U.S. Department of Education and led by SRI, is advancing efforts to design and scale solutions that enhance student outcomes.
