The UTRGV Workforce & Economic Development and the Pharr Economic Development Corporation have inaugurated the collaborative Pharr Global Business Hub in the City of Pharr, TX! Last week, we celebrated an incredible milestone for economic development in our region. We’re excited to announce that Pharr is now home to a brand-new “One-Stop” Business Development & Resource Center. This achievement solidifies our commitment to business growth, especially for those wanting to bring their products or services into the American Market. Through the UTRGV Entrepreneurship and Commercialization Center, Pharr's Global Business Hub will offer a wide range of programs and services to the community, including Business Incubation, the international Soft-Landing program, business advisement, and our flagship business development course, Kauffman FastTrac. The Pharr Global Business Hub stands as a testament to our shared vision of growth and collaboration for local and international businesses. Pharr EDC + UTRGV - The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley officially opens the doors to the Pharr Global Business Hub in the City of Pharr! 🌐🙌💡 Yesterday, we celebrated a major milestone in collaboration with the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV)! The city of Pharr will now have a “One-Stop” Business Development & Resource Center that will be a pivotal hub for local business development with a focus on international business. The center offers a variety of programs and services, including the Global Soft-Landing Program, business advisement, Kauffman Fast Track Cohorts, and access to the Small Business Development Center. It represents a beacon of opportunity for both local and international businesses. Victor Perez, President/CEO of the Pharr EDC, stated, "This innovative and first-of-its-kind center in the City of Pharr represents a significant milestone in our ongoing efforts to support economic growth and global business development."
