If you're interested, get in contact with us and fill our our Seattle Chapter survey: https://lnkd.in/gHpGaSfm Jessica McKenzie Jessie moved to Seattle in June 2023. Highlights in her short time here have included attending free yoga at Gasworks in the summer, climbing Mt. Baker, and seeing the Northern Lights! She moved from Boulder, where she greatly appreciated the many WRISE events. She works remotely for Scout Clean Energy, a wind/solar/storage developer based in Boulder, CO, leading Origination for the Pacific Northwest and CAISO. She’s been at Scout for almost 4 years. There she helps run the DEI committee and plan events for the Women’s ERG. She’s excited to expand her clean energy network in the Seattle area. Kavya Niranjan Kavya joined Renewable Northwest in February 2024 as their Markets & Transmission Policy Manager, where she supports policy activities and engagements with key stakeholders on the development of electricity markets and transmission across the West. She considers this her first bona fide renewable energy job, and she couldn't be more excited about that. Kavya moved to Seattle in 2021 to pursue her MBA from the University of Washington, and before that was a GIS consultant based in the Bay Area. Fun fact: despite having lived in CA for 11 years, Kavya decided she would learn how to surf only after moving to WA, where the ocean is much warmer. Anna Laprise Anna works at LevelTen Energy where she is a champion for renewable energy developers and helps them to find power purchase agreement opportunities and stay on top of ever changing market trends. While at LevelTen, Anna has worked on projects to increase transparency across markets, and reduce friction for renewable energy buyers and sellers during transactions. Anna started her career in energy in her home state of Maine, but traded lobster for crab two years ago when she joined LevelTen. Highlights from her time in Washington include backpacking in the Olympics, skiing and snowboarding across the region, and attending concerts at many of Seattle’s venues!
