Good Grief, Charlie Brown hits Android in time for Thanksgiving
The iconic image of Charlie Brown trying to kick a football while Lucy pulls it away from him came to our mind when we heard about A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, now available at the Google Play Store. After all, what goes together better than Thanksgiving and football? The app is based on the 1973 animated special and includes all of the original music, sound effects and dialogue from the cartoon.

The cartoon itself has been turned into a book with illustrations that highlight a story that shows you the "meaning of Thanksgiving" in a way that only the Peanuts gang can. If you're a fan of Charlie Brown, Linus, Lucy, Pig Pen, Peppermint Patty and the rest of the crew, you are going to want to download this to your Android device. It is also available for Nook devices and Amazon's Kindle devices.

The book is narrated by Stephen Shea who was not the person that Shea Stadium was named after. He is, however, the voice of Linus on the Charlie Brown animated specials that ran for years on CBS. The price of the app is $4.75, but if you have kids, or merely want to relive your childhood, it could be worth the cost. Especially since there are some educational tools, such as word highlighting and touch-to-speak, included.
