Just one day after seeing renders that allegedly show the upcoming LG-made Nexus smartphone (a 5.2-inch handset that could be released in October), we can now take a look at what are, reportedly, renders showing a Huawei-made Nexus, which, just like the LG model, should be launched in October.
Revealed by uSwitch and @OnLeaks, the renders are based on "detailed blueprints of the device sent out to third-party accessory manufacturers ahead of the phone’s release." This means that the real handset should look a lot like the one seen in these renders - assuming, of course, that the renders are accurate (we really can't be sure of this yet).
Similar to the new Google Nexus made by LG, the one manufactured by Huawei seems to have a fingerprint sensor on the back, below its rear camera, plus dual speakers on the front, and a USB Type C port.
Until now, we heard that the Huawei Nexus would sport a 5.7-inch screen. While the renders show a 5.7-inch device (allegedly measuring 159.4 x 78.3 x 6.6/8.5 mm), it's said that Google and Huawei are also testing a 5.5-inch variant of the device. Both should be Quad HD (1440 x 2560 pixels) handsets.
uSwitch has it that the color of the Huawei Nexus is "pure speculation", so the light dual-tone that we can see below might not have anything to do with the real color (or colors) of the smartphone.
If this is indeed what the Huawei-made Google Nexus smartphone will look like, do you think you'd want to get one?
