T-Mobile announces the HTC HD7 and Dell Venue Pro Windows Phone 7 handsets
Just as we've started to enjoy Steve Ballmer's keynote at today's press-conference, T-Mobile has rushed to officially announce the HTC HD7... The HTC HD7! And, the Dell Venue Pro, which also seems like a pretty interesting device, by the way.

We already know pretty much all there is to know about the 4.3" monster by HTC - it will pack the ubiquitous 1GHz Snapdragon chipset, along with all the Windows Phone 7 goodness available, putting some additional focus on its multimedia capabilities (we wonder why...) The HTC HD7 will also have a 5MP camera with HD video recording and dual-LED flash (coupled to 16GB of on-board memory), GPS and the brand new Internet Explorer 8, which we hope will do better than its predecessors.

There is no official pricing as of now, but as far as rumors go, the HTC HD7 will be offered for $199.99 with a signed 2 year pact. Shipments will start in mid-November. Congrats, T-Mo customers, as you'll be the only ones who will be getting the HD7! At least for now, that is.

But one Windows Phone 7 handset can never be enough, and that is why T-Mobile is also throwing in the Dell Venue Pro, which is a 4.1" QWERTY slider with a 5MP camera and the 1GHz Snapdragon chipset. Sales will start in time for the holidays directly from Dell and select retailers with service from T-Mobile. As you might guess, the Dell Venue Pro and the Dell Lightning are one and the same handset, which, in this case, means that we've got plenty to look forward to!
