The beast
Phone owned for less than a year

Well as a person whom loves very big screens at first i though i may get that Asus one with 6.8" devastating screen but its price kept me off from buying. So i tried to give Xiaomi a go since i never used but heard a lot about them. People though it would be some cheap chinese c*** and it would be the worst phone i could find. they were wrong. It had over 1 day battery usage on heavy gaming (since i dont have computer i play some heavy and light games). In overall it's an amazing device with moderate performance but can outrun other phones in its price range. I picked up 64/3 model. Wish i waited more and pick up 128 GB because suprisingly i ran out of space. After upgrading from Grand Prime which is entry level phone this one had me like blazing through the wind. In overall it's very good phone for its price. Camera could be better but everything seems in place. I'm certainly glad that they used FHD instead of QHD. FHD is way more fits than QHD but i'd not say no to QHD too. I can only wish we had an AMOLED display which is my eternal favorite display type which can reflect black colour perfectly. (because i like dark backgrounds).

One of the best and surely the future of Phablets.
Phone owned for less than a month

First time on Xiaomi and man, so far so good. Was a tough decision to choose mi max but I'm satisfied with it. On MIUI 8 and its blazing fast. With Android N in making list, Mi Max is surely here for at least late 2017.

great for gaming and movies
Phone owned for less than a month

prologue: I get this phone just to know about MIUI usability on big screen, my actual plan is to get MiMix but it's already sold out, I never use MIUI before, so I get MiMax (the cheapest model with 2GB of RAM, and SD650) to try MIUI while waiting MiMix (and waiting for S8 leak... just in case)..

ok, let's start...
first thing that everyone will notice when they see this phone is it's huge size... not really difficult to hold, and not heavy, but still annoying when you sit down with this phone inside your front pocket.. it's not a problem if you wear baggy pants (the one from 90s with lots of pockets, not youngster's saggy pants), in my case, I use loose jeans, but most of time I place them inside inner pocket of jacket or coats whenever I go out..
next, about usability..
FPscanner is easily reachable, and it's fast.. pulling down notification shade also easy since you can do it anywhere on homescreen/appdrawer (btw, homescreen and appdrawer is one place in MIUI), one hand mode also easy to trigger, and the screen size is adjustable,,, the hardest button to reach is recent button, but you can long press back button to call recent app list (with some modification on setting)
performance?
SD650+2GB is fast enough.. but MIUI is eating most of that RAM..
600-800MB free most of time, with no apps opened.. opening youtube app and chrome is no go, one of them will closed on background and reopening when you switch..
but can't argue with it's $200 asking price, lol...
and it's battery is really a monster, charging it twice a week with my average usage
I'll cut it here, since my original review is too long and get cut, lol..
td;dr it's a annoyingly huge phone, it's spec is a good bang for buck, but I'll recommend it's smaller sibling RN3pro, since it have more reasonable size, lol..
