I love supporting children age 4-12yrs with anxiety, behavioural challenges, emotion regulation & low self-esteem. I love integrating the Polyvagal Theory within my sessions. Sessions are a fun & interactive with a safe and supportive approach to engage with children. I am the director of Calm Kidz Program, a registered Counsellor with ACA, a Safe & Sound Protocol Provider (Music Therapy program). I am trained in Social Thinking, Neuro-Developmental Theory to practice, Emotion Coaching, the Zones of Regulation as well as Child Developmental Practices. - Your child is not giving you a hard time, Your child is having a hard time!
I offer one on one counselling sessions as well as group workshops for parents and children. Anxiety is tough and sometimes can show up as anger in your child. Sometimes we can only see the tip of the iceberg but have to dig a bit deeper to find what is going on below (not visible worries). Due to long waitlists I also offer email counselling for Parents.
