| Français I was never destined to become a counsellor. Having grown up in the French countryside, where mental health is a thing that none talks about, I went on to live my adult life thinking that you just need to keep going, whatever comes your way. That was until 2017, when I severely burnt out after experiencing workplace bullying, then was the victim of a traffic accident that led me to develop chronic pain. I could not make sense of the emotional, mental and physical turmoil that I was thrown into. It was only thanks to my new passion for the mind, body and soul, and finding the right professional support, that I was able to heal.
Counselling, for me, is about empowering you through unpacking how events, experiences and people have impacted you and led to your current thoughts, feelings and body sensations. I work from a person-centred approach and aim to meet you where you are at and work with you using the tools and therapies that I believe are best suited to your needs and goals.
