Inclusive Mental Health Counselling for women. Are you wondering about reactions you don't like or understand, or why life feels so hard? Are you curious about neurodivergence or navigating a new 'diagnosis' and aren't sure what comes next? Nina believes that mental health isn't 'all in our heads' and our connections, coping skills, access to support, our neurotypes, and the (dis)abilities of our bodies also impact our wellbeing. Nina has a special interest in supporting neurodivergent or neuro-curious women and AFAB folks as they make changes to increase vitality and support recovery.
Nina provides practical, adaptable counselling, drawing from a toolkit of evidence-based modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindful Self Compassion (MSC), Sensory Modulation, & Motivational Interviewing (MI). Nina is passionate about trauma-informed, neuroaffirming practice, and sharing skills and strategies to support real change.
In a session we might talk through recent worries, untangle long-standing concerns, loosen big 'knots' of problems that feel overwhelming, or learn skills to help transform difficult experiences or manage big emotions. Your own needs and preferences are my guide to making our sessions work for you. Visit www.ninagreencounselling.com for more info.
