I want you to know that I am here to provide the support you need in a way that is meaningful to you, within a compassionate space where you can explore, heal, and ultimately thrive. I work with those 16 years and older, who are navigating a variety of challenges including, but not limited to, the impacts of abuse, sexual trauma, military trauma, depression, anxiety, shame, relationship issues, self-esteem, grief, and loss.
I believe that when trust, non-judgement and warmth are at the heart of our therapeutic relationship, it has the power to bring about positive and life-changing transformations. I adopt an integrative trauma-informed lens and draw techniques from Polyvagal Theory, DBT, Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Processing Theory, self-compassion, EMDR and more.
I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all or "bandaid-fix" approach. No matter what step of your journey you are on, I am ready to meet you where you are at and work towards getting to the root of your concerns.
