I have been there! That is what makes my counselling stand out from others who have not. As a Certified Addiction Counsellor with lived experience, I know what it's like to struggle with addiction and what it takes to recover. My passion is to help those suffering from addictions, stemming from past trauma, heal. Addiction often effects the whole family. I also provide counselling for the family/parents/spouses to help them learn how to best support their loved one. I am certified in Addiction Counselling, Anger Management & Domestic Violence and provide court certificates/letters for all my programs offered.
Often when people are unhappy with themselves and unresolved issues they reach out to substances to cope, resulting in addiction, anger, and other issues. Specializing in developmental complex trauma, dysfunctional family systems, and various cognitive & behavioral therapies, my counselling strives to help overcome these issues.
