My practice focuses on treating depression, anxiety, trauma, addictions, and families. I am grounded in an electic approach to therapy, to find what you need most. My experience includes Cognivitive Behavioural Therapy, Aceeptance and Commitment Therapy, and a Strengths-Based perspective.
During the last seven years as a social worker, in mental health, trauma and addictions, I have helped people to manage emotions, self-compassion and also achieve sobriety from alcohol and substance use, along with family members. 12 Week In-person ACT Group
ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) is one of the number one evidence-based modalities for mental health, addictions, low self-worth and if you feel stuck. The goal - to create a rich, full and meaningful life, guided by your values, despite the pain that comes with life. ACT Therapy changed my life. We will cover all six core concepts with an overarching theme of self-compassion. Group is limited to six people to allow for any time needed.

"Create a Vision" Art Therapy Group
This is a two hour self-compassion vision board workshop with a focus on mindfulness, creating your vision. We also discuss brief ACT skills to help with unwanted thoughts. Guided meditations and activities.
