Life transitions can be challenging and overwhelming to navigate on our own. Whether you are starting at a new school or job, ending a relationship, surviving a loss, or experiencing a major life event such as becoming a parent or working with a new diagnosis, transitions can be hard. Life transitions can cause a range of emotions – we can feel intensely vulnerable, anxious, excited, stressed, and fearful. Sometimes we feel stuck and alone. If you are struggling with a life transition and need support, I am here to help provide a safe, compassionate space for you.
My therapeutic approach is collaborative, authentic, 2SLGBTQ+ positive, and rooted in empathy and non-judgment. I prefer to adapt my approach to fit your individual needs, goals, and values. I draw inspiration from acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), mindfulness and self-compassion theories, and attachment theory.
I specialize in supporting youth (12+) and young adults as they navigate challenging times. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, self-confidence issues, school and work stress, relationship issues, family issues and parenting, neurodiversity, and change.
