Practicing from an ecological stance, I recognize that individuals exist within larger systems that significantly impact our wellbeing. It's important for me to understand all aspects of a client's life beyond their presenting symptoms to form a well-rounded picture of the contributing factors in their mental health experiences. I primarily work with mature adolescent and adult clients for individual, couple and family therapy.
I am trained in a variety of evidence-based modalities and take an integrative approach which allows me to tailor treatment plans for best meeting individual client needs. I strongly believe that the therapeutic relationship is a key component in change, and am committed to building rapport grounded in unconditional positive regard and informed consent.
I approach practice from an anti-oppressive stance focused on empowering clients to engage in self-led environmental interventions and supported barrier reduction strategies in their journey towards holistic mental wellness. I am so grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside you in your mental health journey, and look forward to meeting you!
