I am a warm and empathetic clinician with a Masters of Science in Psychotherapy from McMaster University. My education has focused on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based modalities such as Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MCBT). I trained at the Anxiety Treatment and Research Clinic (ATRC) and Seniors Mental Health outpatient clinic at St. Joseph's Hamilton. I currently work at the ATRC where I support individuals with a wide variety of anxiety difficulties including social anxiety, perfectionism, OCD, GAD, and panic. I have also enjoyed working with those in crisis at Health Canada.
I enjoy supporting individuals who may struggle with low mood, social anxiety, general worry and low self-esteem. I work to empower clients through a strengths-based approach, helping them realize their potential and reach their goals. I create a safe and welcoming space that allows each individual the opportunity to be heard, cared for, and validated.
In my free time, you can find me hiking and camping or trying a new coffee shop in town. I have also recently rediscovered my love for art and I have been enjoying watercolour painting!
