Our bodies, mind, and emotions can be very good at letting us know something isn't right... yet finding, identifying, and changing that can be challenging! Talking really can help. We usually benefit from talking and being heard, a reminder of what works, and what we do well. I hope I can help you be more compassionate with yourself, accepting of what is out of your control, and to adjust what is in your power to change.
I focus on helping people who are struggling with substance use, depression, and anxiety. I offer a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to help people connect with their strengths so they can heal and move forward. I value open conversation, avoid labels and questionnaires, and help people come to their own answers.
I've worked a lot with homeless people, and recognize money is often tight... I keep a fair wage to avoid exploiting others, and welcome requests for a lower fee. I am available Friday, Saturday, and Sundays for phone and online consultations.
