I want to congratulate you on taking the first step toward healing. My approach as a therapist is person-centred, and I work with individuals to create a plan that is tailored to their specific needs. Having been trained in EMDR therapy, I tend to work from that lens which allows me the ability to pull from various therapies such as ACT, CBT, DBT, Narrative, and Solution-Focused therapy, among others, To ensure that I provide the best possible care I can for my clients.
I have had the experience of working with various ages and in multiple settings, such as the foster care system, addiction centers, and the geriatric community, where I assisted clients with dementia-related behaviours. This led me to understand the challenges that arise when our mental health, past traumas, and ongoing difficulties remain unresolved.
I firmly believe that everyone has the potential to achieve their desired state of physical and emotional wellness and live a fulfilling life.
