My approach to the practice of psychotherapy can be explained by this piece of poetry from Saadi, the Persian poet from the 13th century: "Human Beings are members of a whole, in creation of one essence and soul, If one member is inflicted with pain, other members uneasy will remain". My hope for our collaborative, inclusive, culturally sensitive, embodied/somatic and at times playful work is to be with warmth, depth, and curiosity. I offer therapy in a way that honours different experiences and needs. I draw on my knowledge of modalities known to me (please see the treatment approach section) to tailor the therapy to your needs.
Professionally, I have +7 years of combined local and international experience working in the field of mental health at different capacities including addiction counsellor and primary clinician in an inpatient trauma and addiction program supporting various concerns including trauma, addiction, and mood disorders.
