Do you feel stuck? Does your emotional pain get intense and lead to you shutting down? With specialties in trauma and PTSD, I understand that sometimes we reach for unhealthy behaviours as a way to cope. I utilize an integrated approach to therapy incorporating evidence-based modalities such as dialectic behavioural therapy, cognitive processing therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, and emotion focused therapy. This allows me to use a trauma informed, trauma-focused, and client-centred approach to tailor a treatment plan for individuals or couples that meets their needs.
My areas of specialty include working with adults living with addiction, PTSD, trauma, relationship issues, and other complex mental health issues. I also have experience working with individuals and couples who experience anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, infidelity, and communication issues to name a few.
