My name is Michelle and I bring a collaborative spirit to our counselling relationship applying an integrated treatment focus that is based on your needs. The treatment modalities I use are grounded in evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Mindfulness practices. These approaches respect you, the client, and our therapeutic relationship while we work together toward your desired goals.
I am a counselling professional with eight years of clinical experience and offer an eclectic approach in my wellness practice. I am registered with the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists (NSCCT) as a Registered Counselling Therapist (RCT), and a designated Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with the CCPA, providing services in NS and NL.
