As a therapist and Naturopathic Doctor, I witness the deep connections between physical, mental and emotional wellbeing on a daily basis and making connections to your body is an integral part of my work, while taking into account the profound impacts of structural violence, colonization and intergenerational trauma.
I take a relational approach, meaning that we hold the relationship between the therapist and client as central to a process of healing and personal growth. Recognizing the significance of past and present relationships in our lives, we learn how relationships have impacted and continue to shape you today, in a process that is collaborative and exploratory.
Being queer, Palestinian/ Lebanese born in the diaspora, my practice has been shaped by my own experiences of navigating power, safety, and a collective commitment to liberation. I welcome clients to bring their own wounds, feelings and experiences, around existing structural factors such as racism, sexism, ableism, homophobia, and transphobia.
