| हिन्दी I have strong skills and educational foundation in psychology and counselling with additional speciality in behaviour health from HKU. I am currently pursuing doctorate in Clinical Psychology from CalSouthern University. Additionally I incorporate few evidence based trainings and they are- EMDR ( level-1), Tf-CBT, Motivational Interviewing ( mental health and addiction) and Schema therapy ( Level-2). My current ongoing training is mindfulness based interventions - MBCT-L and MBSR. I am fortunate to have lived ,worked and educated in India, USA, Shanghai and currently Hong Kong. English and Hindi are my two spoken languages.
As an integrated body-mind-spirit and person-centered counselor, I assist my clients using psychodynamics, client centered and cognitive behavioural orientation. My special interest lies in anxiety, depression, trauma, dissociative disorders and self-harm, addictions, OCD, relationship problems, school issues and family counseling and learning disbailities.
I hold high professional integrity and take pride in being a result oriented therapist. My every client is helped in every session to go through the following stages: enhance own understanding, build personal strength, feel positive and start looking for solutions.
