Dr. Hong Chen is a board certified adult psychiatrist and has been in practice since 2010. Dr. Chen received her doctorate degree in medicine at the University of Florida. She then completed her residency training at the University of Florida, Department of Psychiatry. She is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Chen has worked mainly in outpatient settings and often tailors individualized treatment to serve the needs of patients with a variety of conditions. She has a lot of experience in treating patients with depression, anxiety disorders, OCD, Bipolar type 2 and ADHD.

Mr. Tully graduated from Jacksonville University with a Masters in Nursing and is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. He currently works full time at an outpatient office, treating adults with mood disorders, ADHD, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, thought disorders, abuse, trauma, and behavioral issues.

Dr. Rodriguez is an adult psychiatrist, who is fluent in Spanish and English. She emphasizes psychoeducation in collaborating with patients to help tailor a personalized treatment plan. Dr. Rodriguez has a patient-centered approach, combined with a passion for optimizing sleep as part of managing psychiatric illness. She offers supportive therapy during medication management visits, and may also offer cognitive behavioral therapy and/or recommend adding a therapist to your care team to optimize outcomes.

Doctor Ruiz is a board-certified psychiatrist physician who specializes in psychiatric diagnosis and treatment in anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma and stressor related disorders, ADHD, and pregnancy related psychiatric conditions. Dr. Ruiz received her bachelor’s degree in chemistry, graduating from the Honors College with Magna Cum Laude. She later completed four-years of medical school at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, and an additional four-years of psychiatric residency training.

Dr. Webb received a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from University of Miami in Coral Gables, FL. She obtained her medical degree in Osteopathic Medicine from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine and completed residency at Palm Beach Consortium for Graduate Medical Education in Tamarac, Florida. Dr. Webb is currently board-certified under the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. After completing training, Dr. Webb worked as an Attending psychiatrist with the Department of Veteran Affairs in Miami, FL.

I specialize in Anxiety, Depression, and Mood Disorders. As a psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner, I can help patients with mental illness through medication management and patient education about the disorder. In addition, I will teach patients some coping skills, referral to other helpful resources, and collaborate with other interdisciplinary teams.

My ideal client is open-minded and motivated and would like to explore medication as part of their treatment plan. They may struggle with various mental health issues such as anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, depression, or other mood disorders. Dr. Wright has been practicing psychiatry for over 25 years. Her patients appreciate the time, attention and expertise that she provides each of her patients. Dr. Wright has had many years of experience working in Family Medicine and Psychiatry and treats the whole person and not just the symptoms. Dr. Joyln Ferrell is a board-certified psychiatrist who specializes in providing patient-centered care to treat depression and anxiety disorders. She enjoys working with patients to improve their quality of life and helping them reach their specific treatment goals. She received her medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine, and completed her residency training in psychiatry at VA Boston/Harvard Medical School with significant training experiences at McLean Hospital. She additionally completed a fellowship in psychoanalytic psychotherapy at Columbia University Center for Psychoanalytic Training and Research.

Dr. Ahmed Valdes is a board certified adult psychiatrist and burgeoning Geriatric Psychiatrist. After completing his undergraduate education at Florida State University, he attended medical school at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine where he graduated with a combined M.D./M.S. in Genomic Medicine. He subsequently completed psychiatry residency at Jackson Health System/University of Miami and further subspecialized with a fellowship in Geriatric Psychiatry.

Dr. Patricia Klaine is an attending physician working at Talkiatry. She is board certified in adult psychiatry. After completing her training in adult psychiatry, she continued her education by completing a fellowship in consultation-liaison psychiatry which enables her to confidently treat patients with a variety of medical comorbidities. Dr. Klaine focuses on medication management. She offers this in addition to supportive psychotherapy in 30-minute follow-up visits. For some patients, it may be important to bring in additional psychotherapy for well-rounded care.

She is a “triple Gator” having completed her undergraduate and medical degree at the University of Florida (UF) and psychiatric training at UF Jacksonville.
