Upon graduation from medical school, she matriculated to The University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA, where she completed an internship in Psychiatry. She then returned to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center where she completed her residency in General Psychiatry and a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
