Rhea is a licensed mental health nurse practitioner with 4 years of experience working with individuals and families in Minnesota. She believes in a holistic approach to mental wellness, incorporating mindfulness and cognitive-behavioral techniques into her practice. Rhea is passionate about helping her clients overcome challenges and achieve their goals. She specializes in treating depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, bipolar, schizophrenia, and dementia. Rhea is also an experienced nurse with 15 years of work experience.

I empower patients that are motivated for treatment who are struggling with depression, anxiety, and bipolar spectrum disorders learn how to regulate their emotions, find pleasure in the little things, and live their best life. I do this by taking the time to Truly Listen and offer a personalized integrative treatment plan including medications, supplements, therapy, and lifestyle coaching. Dr. Dickmann is a board certified psychiatrist and addiction medicine specialist open to working with patients struggling with depression, anxiety, addiction, PTSD, ADHD, OCD, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and more. She joins the Expanse MN team following 11 years of clinical experience at the Minneapolis VA Medical Center, where she served as Medical Director of Addiction Recovery Services, Medical Director of the Opioid Treatment Program, and Medical Director of Mental Health Homeless Programs.

I am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with eight years of healthcare experience. I am dedicated, compassionate, and patient focused. My approach to care combines medication management with supportive therapy, focusing on empowering individuals to overcome personal challenges through a comprehensive and integrative method. I believe in treating the whole person, not just the symptoms. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based therapies, psychoeducation, and motivational interviewing, tailoring each treatment plan to the unique needs of my patients.

I have been working in healthcare in many different facets for over 25 years. I am eager to work with clients that are struggling with depression, anxiety (feelings of being overwhelmed), social anxiety, mood disorders and so many other mental health problems. I have worked with substance use and drug abuse extensively for over 10 years. Overcoming substance use does not have to be hard, it does not have to be a struggle, I am here to help. I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 6+ years of critical care experience from working in the Intensive Care Unit. It is there, where I discovered my interest in psychiatry and realized just how under-served the mental health population is. My compassion for others coupled with my interest in psychiatry is what prompted me to pursue my degree as a nurse practitioner. My goal is get patients back to living life the way they did before they were affected by mental illness.

As a clinician, Dan strives to collaborate with each patient to create a comprehensive treatment plan that incorporates a variety of evidence-based healing modalities that may include psychotherapy, exercise, dietary changes, medications, behavioral modifications, positive psychology, and even spirituality (broadly defined), if desired. He particularly enjoys utilizing narrative therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy with his patients. Dan always conducts a thorough medication review for each patient to ensure their medications are safe and appropriately dosed.
