Sara has extensive experience in crisis intervention working with a diverse population as she originally received a BA in Sociology – Law, Crime, and Deviance with a focus on Psychology working at a large metropolitan adult detention center and then at a large metropolitan 911 center. Sara continued her education and received a BS in Nursing from the College of St. Scholastica.

I am a Board Certified psychiatrist treating ADHD, depression, Bipolar Disorder, anxiety disorders, psychosis, insomnia, amongst other psychiatric illnesses. At your initial evaluation, I develop a treatment plan for a patient, that may include testing to rule out medical conditions that may contribute to symptoms, and treatment that may include psychiatric medication, psychotherapy or a combination of the two. I utilize medications with a gentle approach, using the least number of medications to effectively treat an illness, using minimal effective dosages to reduce side effects.

I have over ten years’ experience in helping people with mental health conditions, I treat individuals from ages 6 years and above.
