I am a licensed a Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner interested in providing comprehensive, compassionate and exceptional mental health care for adults and adolescents. I incorporate both psychiatric medicine and psychotherapy into my practice. I employ evidence-based practice unified with clinical experience, education, and patient observation to provide the best treatment on a patient-by- patient basis. I believe in treating all patients with the dignity and respect they deserve and strive to build excellent rapport with both the patient and their family.

I am a graduate of Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. I completed my Psychiatry Residency at Henry Ford Hospital, where I served as chief resident. In addition, I completed a Medical Leadership Fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital, and an Electroconvulsive Therapy Visiting Fellowship at Duke University. I am general psychiatrist who treats adults with a variety of mental health disorders. I strive for balance in your treatment plan, including medication management and psychotherapy. Coordination of care and continuity of care are very important to me.

As a psychiatrist, I endeavor to facilitate the growth of individual mental, emotional, and spiritual capacities, whether by optimizing effective medication for managing mood and anxiety symptoms or encouraging engagement in purposeful psychotherapy (or both). Practicing psychiatry over the past 14 years has guided me toward a realization that humanity is beautiful and that I am priviledged to have the opportunity to develop meaningful patient relationships, which, through the passage of time along with individual effort, promote personal acceptance, advancement, contentment, and peace.

My patients are busy professionals who come to see me for medication management and supportive therapy. They need medication management for their depression, anxiety, bipolar mood episodes or sleep issues. I also treat patients with complex psychiatric disorders, including treatment-resistant depression as I provide TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) and Ketamine treatment. In addition, I see patients with bipolar disorder and psychosis. Patients particularly feel satisfied as I help them with their sleep issues including insomnia, sleep apnea, and other sleep disorders.

I am a Board-Certified Psychiatrist with over 20 years' experience in medical and psychiatric environments. I have clinical experience in diverse psychiatric settings, these include inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and C&L psychiatry. I worked as a Team leader of ACT team as well as a TMS provider in outpatient setting. I have held key positions such as teaching and leadership roles throughout my career, including residency and afterwards working as a staff psychiatrist. Aside from my private practice; I am the Medical Director and inpatient/intensive outpatient psychiatrist at Wellbridge Healthcare Hospital, Fort Worth, TX.

Modupeoluwa Mariam Odu-Onikosi is a dedicated, board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and Licensed Registered Nurse. She offers an accomplished combination of education and experience with hospital, inpatient/outpatient psychiatry, drug/alcohol treatment center, rehab, home health, and clinical training. She has a strong history of success in the treatment of psychiatric illnesses and medical and emotional illnesses including environmental, sociological, psychological, and physical factors of mental and emotional disorders. Mariam graduated from Walden University.
