Dr. Cavazos was granted a full Army scholarship to attend medical school and received his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. He did his residency at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. After completing his four year residency in psychiatry, he became the Chief of Inpatient Psychiatric Care at Ireland Community Hospital, Fort Knox, Kentucky. He left the Army after completing his eight years of service as a Major. A member of various medical associations, he pursues being a vocal advocate for patient care and patient rights.

Solange is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner based in Texas. With over a decade of experience as a registered nurse, she has worked in various clinical settings from surgery to home health. I went on to become a registered nurse (1993 SU). Now I am board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (2013) as well as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (2021). As a nurse/NP for over 25 years, I have provided holistic care to patients in a variety of settings from ICU, acute rehabilitation settings, long-term care, home health and telemedicine services.
