The decision to seek help for life's issues can be both scary and exciting. I know how important it is to have someone to talk with, who can see more objectively than we can see ourselves. I have worked extensively with people who have mood disorders, such as depression and bipolar, anxiety and panic, anger problems, communication and relationship difficulties, and more. I have worked with many people who feel that their spiritual relationship has been damaged or destroyed. Spirituality does not have to be part of our work, but if you have spiritual wounds that you would like to work on, I can help you to heal them.
I tend toward a psychodynamic approach, which means that I like to include all of the factors that influence our thinking and behavior. I also use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. I have also worked with many people who experienced a break in their relationship with spirituality; I create space to explore this.
