Pregnancy and childbirth can be filled with excitement, but it can also be a time of anxiety, stress, sadness, fear, and panic. Maybe something just doesn't feel quite right. Maybe you feel completely overwhelmed. Perhaps you and your partner just can't seem to get on the same page. Anxiety, depression, irritability, and rage during pregnancy and after childbirth can be alarming, but it is not uncommon. The good news is, these are treatable conditions. I specialize in perinatal mood disorders, and work with birth parents and non-birth parents who are having difficulty transitioning to parenthood. My work focuses on supporting parents because every child deserves a healthy parent, and every parent deserves the ability to enjoy their child.
