If overthinking were an Olympic sport, you'd be a repeat gold medalist with endorsements. You wonder, "When did this happen? When did I become a supporting actor in my life?" Somehow, you're on the sidelines, watching everyone else living their best life with a list of excuses of why you can't do the same. All while you feel stuck, disconnected, and exhausted from overthinking. As you take care of everyone and everything on your to-do list, you begin to notice one line item missing - YOU.

I believe the most important story you will ever hear that will impact your life is the one you continually tell and believe about yourself. My goal as your therapist is to help individuals, couples and families take the necessary steps needed to heal via helping them re-author their story. The work I do with people involves helping them heal through facing their hard truths. Through my experience with personal hardships and what society would see as failures, I have come to the realization that perfection is an illusion and a more realistic obtainable goal is to strive for excellence – meaning continually trying to do your best.

In my tenure as a mental health professional I have served diverse populations in multiple settings to include: school-based, residential, community mental health and higher-education environments. Proficient in four languages (Ukrainian, Russian, French, and English), I provide culturally competent and trauma-informed clinical services to help people from all walks of life obtain access to mental health services. As a strong generalist, my therapeutic interests include a range of mental health issues and complications in individuals, couples, and families. As a trauma specialist, I hope to make the world as safer place for all.

My ideal clients are those who suffer with career burnout and compassion fatigue (healthcare workers, law enforcement, veterans, etc), those dealing with identity issues, those who have had traumatic and abusive pasts or are in crisis now, relationship issues and addiction. I desire to use my innate capacity for authentic empathy to enter into another's pain. I listen to their story, help them understand themselves better and find balance. I can help clients to reclaim or define their real identity with the goal of finding meaning and purpose amidst suffering and struggle.
