TRAUMA-PTSD-CPTSD-DBR-EMDR: Most of my clients enter treatment with symptoms of dysregulated nervous systems: triggered, flashbacks, panic, anxiety, or dissociation. Many had chaotic or abusive childhoods causing relational issues: difficulty trusting, people pleasing, or poor boundaries. Using evidence based practices such as Deep Brain Reorienting or EMDR, I collaborate to tailor treatment plans that target the root cause of symptoms and work at the client's pace. After 20+ years in practice, I continue to be awestruck at the profound level of healing these neuroscientific modalities have brought to the table.
I’ve been a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor specializing in trauma for over 20 years. I have worked in military, prison, and private practice environments, and am licensed in SC, NC, and FL. I am trained in Deep Brain Reorienting and Somatic-and-Attachment-Focused EMDR (certified by EMDRIA), highly effective neuroscientific modalities.
