Hello, I’m Charné and I’m so glad you’re here! I actively work on creating a space that is warm and genuine for adolescents and adults seeking to understand their world. Together, we explore your past and navigate the present, guiding you toward a healthier, more aligned, and grounded sense of self. There are many reasons to seek therapeutic support. I work with people struggling to make sense of a life transition, their sense of self and those struggling with anxiety and stress management. My practice is a LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent affirming space. Her experience and focus includes supporting late-diagnosed ASD and ADHD clients.
I draw from Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and person-centred care. I have a psychodynamic background and a research interest in attachment theory. The combination of these practices are super helpful in the journey of connecting the dots, making sense of things as they are, while exploring how they came to be.
I don't give advice because I don't have a preconceived idea of what you should or shouldn't do- I trust that you inherently know what is best, and I'm happy to walk this journey towards yourself and find what that is.
