In practice, I work from an eclectic approach as I have found therapeutic flexibility to be helpful in meeting my patients’ needs. My therapeutic approach mainly draws initially from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Insight-Oriented and Psychodynamic psychotherapy, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). If need be, I will use other modalities.
My stance on psychotherapy is to create a non-judgmental environment in which you can safely explore your difficulties and vulnerabilities and address your challenges in the sessions while feeling contained within the therapeutic space. I believe in working authentically and collaboratively with you to help you achieve your therapeutic goals.
