A fabulous Africa's Green Economy Summit, important conversations covering climate finance, carbon markets, the nexus of gender and climate and so much more. Inspiring speakers, passionate founders, intentional ecosystem builders, what a fabulous few days and a privilege to participate. Highlights for me were the inspiring entrepreneurs in the Shark Tank, boldly sharing their fabulous businesses; the gender climate workshop looking at innovative ways to use climate finance to fund women, who are benefit multipliers for climate action; and thought leaders driving climate solutions. Thank you to Sibongile Mavimbela for eloquently moderating our panel. Thanks to Nyeji Chilembo-Mhango, MSc. , Erica Nell, Rebecca Kyarimpa Sabiiti and Morris Tayebwa for your insightful perspectives and determination to ensure inclusive conversations and financing mechanisms to ensure women’s voices are included in conversations and no one is left behind. Women are the agents of climate action, early adopters of climate adaption and mitigation strategies, driving awareness through their communities. It was encouraging to see governments, policymakers and the private sector all championing the same cause.
