The Single Point Mooring (SPM) in Mossel Bay ensures fuel supply for local distribution by PetroSA. The AMSOL BTV ‘Sisonke’ plays a key role in providing support for inspection, maintenance, and static towing at the offshore terminal through which the fuel is imported and exported. Each tanker at the SPM is supported by a dedicated team, including a Loading Master and a tanker team, who ensure safe operations until cargo is fully transferred. During the operation, sea and weather conditions are closely monitored to ensure no risk to the environment.
