The Evaton Mall solar system installation is now complete! This is the largest system in the Fortress portfolio, sized at over 2MWp. Our team had to work through many issues to complete this challenging project:   • The system was initially designed below the 1MWac restriction on embedded solar systems • There was extensive structural remedial work that had to be done on the building to accommodate the weight of the panels • The entire roof had to be painted before installation  • We had to upgrade the Eskom infrastructure at the mall’s point of supply • The solar installation was staggered in two phases with the structural and painting work so that we could switch on half the system in the last financial year. The remainder of the system was switched on a few days ago. The system is forecast to produce 3200MWh per annum which amounts to a CO2 saving in excess of 3000 tons of CO2e. This is a significant contribution to Fortress’s decarbonisation targets. #ESG #Solar #Retail

We are very proud to announce that Hall A at our warehouse in Głuchów - MDC2 Park Łódź South - has been granted the BREEAM Official International New Construction certificate. This certification confirms that our facility has achieved a score of 79.2% and has been rated at the Excellent level. #BREEAM #Logistics #Sustainability

Construction of our new proposed logistics facility with a GLA of 13,007m² at Eastport Logistics Park has started.
