The Hasso Plattner d-school Afrika at UCT has been nominated for the ArchDaily 2025 Building of the Year Awards! As one of the world’s leading architectural platforms, ArchDaily celebrates innovation and excellence in design, making this recognition an incredible honour. Designed by KMH Architects, our building is a true reflection of creativity, functionality, and sustainability, qualities that have also landed it a feature in CNN’s exploration of South Africa’s green building movement. The piece highlights the country’s shift towards sustainable design, with d-school Afrika standing as a prime example of how architecture can drive positive change. Being acknowledged by both ArchDaily and CNN speaks volumes about the impact of design-led spaces and the role they play in shaping the future of innovation and education.
