Employees wore pink to symbolise hope and unity, fostering meaningful conversations about early detection and the importance of support. By standing together, we honoured survivors and remembered those we've lost. Our Klipspruit site recently completed a meaningful community training project. Over the past few months, we had the opportunity to train eight local learners on CAT 777 rigid dump trucks. Starting in June 2024 and concluding in early September, we focused on a range of training methods to ensure a well-rounded experience: Classroom Training: Covering mining basics, safety requirements, and machine familiarisation, including pre-start inspections. Simulator Training: Providing hands-on experience in basic operations, load and haul techniques, and emergency response simulation. Physical On-Machine Training: Giving learners real-world experience with load and haul operations and inspections. We look forward to seeing how these skills will positively impact their futures. Moolmans has a rich history that resonates with our clients, employees—both past and present—and their families. It was a privilege to welcome Ingrid Moolman, wife of Moolmans co-founder Mike Moolman, to our offices. Her heartfelt emotions were touching as she stood before one of our first pieces of equipment, proudly on display.   We are grateful to have met the remarkable woman who was a steadfast support for Mike.

Moolmans is pleased to announce our partnership with Immersive Technologies as we enhance the Training Department at our Gamsberg Project in the Namaqua region.   We have added two simulators— a new IM360-B Transportable and an additional PRO3 Transportable —to improve our training capabilities. With these advanced workforce training solutions, we will strengthen our operations with Liebherr and CAT equipment, helping us integrate people, processes, and technology using real data.   This initiative is designed to improve safety, drive efficiencies and boost productivity in our production and engineering environments. As September comes to a close, it’s an ideal moment to reflect on Arbor Month and the vital role trees play in our lives. They enhance air quality, support food security, and boost our overall well-being. Throughout the month, Moolmans organised the planting of trees at various locations, including our sites, support office and schools in our communities. For Moolmans to be sustainable and for us to leave behind a positive legacy, each and every person's contribution is necessary and valuable.
