The 2024 grantee mapping by the OTT-led African Education Research Funding Consortium (AERFC) shows that North American and European grantees receive larger grants despite African organisations outnumbering them in African education research. Earlier this month, AERFC brought together funders and grantees to discuss how to make grants more accessible for African-based organisations and expand their circle sustainably.
