Empowering Youth, Driving Growth: Our Groundbreaking Partnership with Delivery Ka Speed SA We took a bold step forward in our mission to uplift township businesses and proudly handed over 10 delivery bikes to Delivery Ka Speed, a 100% black youth-owned SME, marking a significant milestone in our partnership. This initiative empowers young entrepreneurs to take ownership of their operations, extending their reach to areas like Soweto and KwaMhlanga. Our R3 million investment, facilitated through Aions, Telkom’s ICT venture builder, is more than just financial support—it’s a commitment to creating real impact in the township economy. This partnership aligns with our broader Township Strategy, which aims to establish accessible touchpoints for consumers, enhance connectivity, and drive job creation in townships and rural areas. Possible begins with building a stronger, more connected township economy. 🌍💪 #PossibleBeginsHere #PossibleBeginsWithTelkom #Empowerment #YouthDevelopment #TownshipEconomy #Connectivity #CommunityImpact

This Women’s Month, we’ve taken significant steps towards gender equality at Telkom, particularly through our Female Leadership Development Programme (FLDP). The FLDP has been a cornerstone of our commitment to increasing women’s representation in leadership roles. This year alone, 71 women graduated from the programme after 18 months of intensive training, equipping them with the skills and confidence to excel in the ICT sector. Since its inception, 250 women have completed the programme, contributing to our goal of achieving 35% women in leadership by 2025. These graduates are not just future leaders; they are a testament to what can be achieved when we invest in women’s potential. I’m immensely proud of their accomplishments and look forward to seeing their continued growth and impact. Happy Women’s Month!

A #ThrowBackThursday to when we gathered with the Department of Communication and Digital Technologies for a breakfast event that spotlighted women in the digital communications sector. The event brought together leaders and innovators to celebrate and empower women, ahead of Women’s Day. DCDT Minister Solly Malatsi delivered a keynote address, underscoring the global need for ongoing transformation and gender equity within the ICT industry. Our very own, Mpho Lethoko, Chief of Corporate Affairs at Telkom, graced the event to reinforce Telkom’s commitment to enhancing female representation at all levels of the organization. Possible begins with recognition, it begins with women empowerment! 💙#PossibleBeginsHere #PossibleBeginsWithTelkom #WomensDay #TelkomWomensDay
