Exciting News from GrowZA Think Tank! In just one month, our Executive Director, Craig Kensley, will join esteemed colleagues Prof. Vikas Kumar, Prof. Jakob Svensson, and Dr Errol Francke at Malmö University for a pivotal event from August 19-23, 2024. This gathering is in relation to a shared project - Decent and Dignified Digital Work from the Margins of Digital Society: Anticipations from the Global South and Invisible Platform Workers We are thankful to the funders for enabling this group to embark on research talks that will shape the future of digital work for young people in developing economies. Engaging in this manner is strategically important for GrowZA as it aligns with our mission to drive inclusive development and innovation in the Global South. By participating in this collaborative research effort, we aim to highlight the unique challenges and opportunities faced by digital workers in developing economies and contribute to creating dignified and sustainable digital work environments.
