𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝗮 𝗪𝗿𝗮𝗽 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗢𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗼 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰! Today marked the conclusion of our 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗢𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗼 for the year. 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝟯𝟳 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 came together in George to expose hundreds of YeBoneers with a world of possibilities and valuable information. From educational programmes to career pathways, this expo offered our YeBoneers a unique chance to engage directly with organisations eager to support their journeys ahead. At YearBeyond 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗼 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 after their year in service is 𝗰𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆. Young people bring fresh perspectives, innovation, and energy to organisations. We encourage partners to come on board and 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁. As we wrap up our #LightsOnAfterSchool series, we’re shining a light on our incredible 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲! This community-based initiative strengthens overall wellbeing by providing essential community listening services. As part of our #LightsOnAfterSchool series, today we’re giving a huge shout-out to our 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗕𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗵𝘂𝗸𝘂𝗺𝗮 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗬𝗲𝗕𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻! Our dedicated YeBoneers serve as 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀, 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 for resilience and self-regulation. Continuing our #LightsOnAfterSchool series, today we’re highlighting the amazing YeBoneers on the 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗕𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲! As Planet Youth facilitators, these dedicated YeBoneers make a lasting impact throughout the school day and beyond. They 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝘀𝘆𝗰𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗱𝘂𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽𝘀, 𝗮𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝘀 𝗮𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝘃𝗲𝘆𝘀. This morning, our 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗱 𝗢𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗼 𝗸𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗳𝗳 𝗶𝗻 𝗚𝗾𝗲𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗵𝗮, bringing excitement and potential to the Eastern Cape! Our YeBoneers explored their future pathways and opportunities, engaging with 𝟮𝟴 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀. After school programmes don’t only take place at schools they extend into homes, communities, streets, and parks, where 𝘃𝘂𝗹𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝟮-𝟲 𝗣𝗠 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲, 𝗳𝘂𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗻𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀.
