In 2024, the MSGBC basin is set to see new oil and gas production, creating strong investment opportunities in West Africa's energy sector. Major gas discoveries between 2014 and 2027 have made the region a competitive place for large projects, particularly in Senegal and Mauritania, which are implementing reforms like Senegal’s 2020 Gas Code to promote gas development. 👉 Full Article: https://lnkd.in/dCg_3FrZ To support Senegal's growing oil and gas industry, Finance Gestion et Intermédiation and Baobab Asset Management launched the Fi Natangué investment fund. This fund aims to finance local companies, boost the economy, create jobs, and improve energy security. Additionally, a memorandum of understanding signed in May 2024 between the Eastern and Southern African Trade and Development Bank and the West African Development Bank will enhance collaboration on financing projects in Senegal, focusing on energy, infrastructure, and education. The next MSGBC Oil, Gas & Power conference will discuss energy financing and investment opportunities, highlighting how a strong financial sector can support energy project development and security in the region. 👉Learn more about the event, visit: https://lnkd.in/daXq37zN #MSGBC2025 #InvestinAfrica #AfricanEnergy #WestAfrica #Senegal #Mauritania #OilandGas #Infrastructure
