Today we are delighted to announce the opening of our European Control Tower in Bucharest, Romania. This new operational hub is supported by our new pan-European logistics service. A key pillar of this service is Groupage, a smarter, end-to-end solution that brings together road, maritime, air, rail and multimodal transport for greater efficiency. With Romania’s strategic location and our presence in Constanța and Aiud, we reinforce the country’s role as a logistics hub, driving trade and expanding market access. Today we announced our partnership with Mota-Engil to advance the development of Banana Port. As the Democratic Republic of Congo’s first fully equipped deep-water port, the Banana Port will serve as a key trade gateway, enhancing connectivity, streamlining trade processes and supporting regional economic growth. This project marks another significant milestone in our commitment to strengthening trade infrastructure in the country. Together we are shaping a new chapter in the DRC’s development that will create thousands of jobs, reduce transport costs, and foster long-term resilience for the people and industries.
