The event, held yesterday, was impeccably organized by EGA in collaboration with C3 - Companies Creating Change. A big thank you to both organizations for their dedication to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship in the UAE. The highlight of the event was the inspiring speeches by H.E. Alia Abdulla AlMazrouei, Minister of State for Entrepreneurship, Abdulnasser Bin Kalban, CEO of EGA, and Medea Nocentini, Founder of C3. Their words set the tone for a day full of innovation and future-forward thinking. Dr. Khalid Al-Ali, CEO of Seramic Materials, presented the company’s groundbreaking solution of upcycling industrial solid waste into affordable raw materials for advanced ceramic manufacturing. His presentation was received with great interest by a distinguished panel of judges, including Sonia Weymuller, Sacha Haider, Najm A., and Jana Elkova. Seramic Materials was co-founded by Dr. Khalid Al-Ali and Dr. Dr. Nicolas Calvet, with The Catalyst being the first to invest in their pre-seed round.
